As a fitness trainer and my goal has always been to help women feel their best through fitness and movement. Having trained for almost 14 years I have continued to educate myself and learn all I could about the areas that sparked my passion. I had been a perinatal fitness instructor for 10 years but after becoming a Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist my world changed. It's hard to give ourselves a break; to slow down enough to be aware of our own body and to want to learn how to be better as opposed to just checking that workout and self care off the list of things to get done in a day.
But I knew there were other mamas out there, just like me; wanting to truly change their bodies and care for themselves but also have it be accessible for their busy lives. There were so many women settling for pain, body image issues, discomfort, leaking, prolapse, poor posture, and surgery because that seemed like the "only way", or they just didn't know what else was out there. There were mamas feeling so stuck, lost, and overwhelmed that they didn't know how to get started in the first place.
Whatever the case, we all end up back in the same place without getting the help we need; yearning to truly feel like ourselves and be happy in our bodies and start taking steps forward to be the best version of ourselves.
but I also know that it is hard work and without the habits in place to make it fit it just makes it all harder.

I used to be a legit perfectionist (I'm in recovery now, so don't you worry about me!)
I know what it's like to do something, or not have the confidence to even try, if there is that fear you’re not going to be good enough or I won't be able to be in control of everything 100% of the time. When it comes to building a core foundation we just have to accept we will NOT be perfect but working towards knowledge, awareness and improvement is the goal!
It's hard. You will either have to dig deep and incorporate some movement into your day, or you might have to throttle back, and slow down, and press pause on the workouts you already are doing. Knowing that this work is going to be so much bigger than just checking off your movement ring for the day is how you'll check the box for success!
