It’s interesting how this came about. I started as a fitness trainer and my goal has always been to help women feel their best through fitness and movement. When I was postpartum with my second child, I was riding the struggle bus, so I did what a lot of postpartum women do and jumped into a fitness and nutrition overhaul fast 'to feel better', and burnt out and crashed hard…and fast.
But I realized there were other mamas out there, just like me, doing the same thing and trying to force a major fitness and nutrition change into their life postpartum because that seemed like the next thing to do to feeling better, then crashing because the habit foundation wasn't there and their programs didn’t serve their needs; or on the other hand, there are mamas feeling so stuck, lost and overwhelmed that they don’t know how to get started in the first place.
Whatever the case, we all end up back in the same place; yearning to truly feel like ourselves and be happy in our bodies and start taking steps forward to be the best version of ourselves- whether that includes fitness or nutrition goals or not.

I used to be a legit perfectionist (I'm in recovery now, so don't you worry about me!)
I know what it's like to do something, or not have the confidence to even try, if there is that fear you’re not going to be good enough or I won't be able to be in control of everything 100% of the time. When it comes to designing a life we love to live it will NEVER BE PERFECT, and that is beautiful, but we can have a life that supports us emotionally, physically and mentally so we can be the best version of ourselves for the ones we love the most!
Having gratitude will lead to a feeling of fulfillment each day. Imagine what it would feel like going to bed at the end of the day knowing that your life choices, reactions and habits served how you want to feel and where you want to go in life (to the best of your ability!). Can you imagine how fulfilling your life would be if you knew you had a method to quell the anxiety, struggles, overwhelm and stuck feeling that comes along with not taking time for yourself!
You CAN take time for yourself and improve your family’s situation, relationships and time together. Can you imagine what it would feel like if you felt more present with your family when you were with your family? Improving your mood (that does affect everyone else's) feeling less strained and frazzled and overwhelmed is a self fulfilling prophecy to things running smoother and FEELING easier!
